Knot Practice

As shown in the required reading and on-line, practice these knots:

• Overhand knot
• Figure 8 knot  (all variations)
• Butterfly knot
• Double Fisherman knot
• Water knot
• Clove hitch
• Girth hitch
• Prusik hitch
• Muenter hitch

If you do not already own climbing gear, then buy a five-foot section of 5mm accessory cord and a five-foot section of tubular webbing at a climbing or outdoor shop.  Bring this accessory cord and webbing with you to the course for further practice.
